Below are pictures of some of the chairs and suites we have
re-upholstered over the years.
Many are showing the before and after.

We re-upholster chairs and suites in Scottish leather.
We use leather from the
Andrew Muirhead tannery in Scotland.

When we have to match leather that for example has been damaged, then
World Wide leather is normally used.
This is because leather used on shop bought furniture is not the same as our Scottish leather.

We also re-upholster using World Wide Leather should the customer prefer.

Click onto the News letter page for more information on Scottish leather.

Renovations
&
Re-upholstery

All our renovations come with a warranty on the leather and our workmanship.

We give a written quotation before any work is started and our terms and conditions apply.

As standard, Leather protection cream is applied and a care kit per customer is given.

Repairs to frames, replacing springs , webbing etc is also done.

We cannot explain everything that we do so should you have questions and to find out more contact us by
phone or e-mail

We mainly we use Andrew Muirhead leather from the
Sateen & Arisaig ranges which have
61 colours to choose from and the Ingleston range which has 44 colours to choose from.

The Sateen & Arisaig ranges are used in the aircraft industry which has very specialised demands.

The Ingleston range is used in the Marine and automotive market where style, look and feel plus safety and durability are important.

Pictures of the before and after from our workshop

A strange picture of furniture you may say.

This is a picture of our local Blacksmith who had an apron

made in
Scottish Sateen leather 9 months a go.

It is in daily use and has no tears or welding burns.

This shows just how robust the leather is, we use from
Andrew Muirhead.

Seating made in leather from the plans sent from an
Interior design company in london.

The back frames were sent to us for upholstery as they had special fixings and we cut the base wood work to shape and fitted the foam cushioning and upholstered in the chosen leather.

The completed seating is sitting on the shaped templates.
