The
chair on the left which is one of a pair, with the floppy cushion pads
was only 5 years old.
This was originally fitted with Paloma leather which is a
semi aniline.
The
chair on the right is the same chair but has been
re-upholstered in Scottish leather but completely re-vamped to give
a modern look.

New leather fitted that was an almost exact
match.
It must be remembered that new leather is always
clean and brighter than old, some times dirty sun
faded original leather. Given time it does blend in. |

In
our renovations we re-new all worn out parts. On
the left is old rotten foam, discoloured with sweat
that has gone through the leather. On the right the
foam has beenreplaced to original specifications.

Rio

A circular base was made and coloured to match as close
as possible. Plastic feet fitted under the base and the
metal circular base of the chair attached to the wood.
