a bargain in a short period of time.

is run by ourselves, John & Susan Oliphant
If you phone it will either be myself, John, or Susan who will initially
speak to you. I will be the person you will meet on home visits
for quotations and repairs etc.
Our
workshop is on the outskirts of Forfar situated only minutes from
the main streets of Forfar with car parking at front.
Each
page will give you an insight of the range of work we do.
There

We
are agents for Star Blinds, and I also measure and fit the
range of Louvre, roller, venetian, wood venetian and roman blinds.

Our
range of fabrics allows you to have co-ordinated curtains to match
your upholstery and we offer a made to measure service with a
fitting service including track if you wish.

We
have specialised in the renovation of a well
known make of Scandinavian, recliner furniture for
many years and as far as we know, are the only
upholsterers in the UK who do this work on a large scale.
We
are not allowed to mention the name of this furniture by
this Norwegian company, as the name is a trade mark.
We
now refer to our renovation and re-covers as Scandinavian.

Members are assessed before joining and on a regular basis.

Within
Tayside, Fife and Aberdeenshire
and Glasgow we
pick up and deliver using our own transport.

the rest of the UK and Islands transport can

Small
items such as cushion covers etc, to be
re-upholstered, are sent by Royal Mail.
Each
chair or sofa is covered with transit bags
when taken out or into a house.
When
chairs are sent by carrier they are
heavily bubble wrapped.

Every
week we get e-mails from around the UK and America about problems
with leather from a scratch, tear, colour problem etc
Unfortunately we cannot go in person due to the distance.
We can only attend customers in Tayside and Fife and Aberdeenshire.

Many
of our pictures are the before and after variety and
we admit now that photography is not our speciality.
Re-upholstery
of your furniture is not always the cheapest option.
Yes, you can buy furniture for a few pounds.
But
nowhere can you find any information on Quality.
Everything is geared on the cheapest price.
Thats
where we can guide you on our range of fabrics,
which are chosen for wearability and cleanability and our
Scottish leather.
Choosing fabrics and leather cannot be done quickly so we
like our customers to take home our swatches and choose at leisure.
We
can also suggest how to give your chair or
suite an upgrade by using quality foams springs etc.
